About Melanie

I am a NASM certified personal trainer with over 11 years of training experience and a master nutrition certification. I hold certifications in pre and post natal training. I studied at Postural Restoration Institute where I learned to teach breathing techniques to help restore better posture and optimize functional movement. I believe in a client centered coaching style which allows me to help my individual clients achieve their goals. I am passionate about empowering others and at the same time providing the support and motivation that they need. I love what I do and I make it enjoyable!!! Don’t dream of success train for it!!

" Mel has been my personal trainer for over four years. We started in the gym pre-Covid but during and after Covid, we have trained in my home gym via Zoom. In fact, Mel was extremely helpful in me outfitting the home gym with weights, cables, steps, cushions, etc.

I am around 60 years old and my objective was (is) to maintain muscle mass (or at least slow the loss) and Mel has designed my program accordingly for me to meet my objective. Equally importantly, at times when I am experiencing some muscle discomfort or minor pain (probably related to other activities / sports), Mel is always able to modify our training to either avoid additional stress around any such area or introduce low impact exercises / movements to improve range of motion or flexibility in the affected region.
